Summit Lake North is a fine campground! The campsites are close together and there isn’t much privacy from other campers, but everyone was quiet and respectful. Facilities were clean and the spring water was a great feature.
This site is central to park sites and is about equidistant from Juniper and Butte lake areas.

Lots of trees and shade, close to the lake for easy recreation during the day. Decently sized campsites and a lot of them are pull-through. Running water & flush toilets.
The campsites are close enough together that you should anticipate people walking through your campsite, especially if you are close to the restrooms. Be sure to guard your food because there are habituated animals that will go right up to you to steal it.

Fantastic campground! Right by the lake and very serene. Plenty of downed trees nearby to use as firewood, and there is a trail entrance to connect to nearby trails right by this campground as well.
Highly recommended, will be staying here again in the future. Fantastic way of enjoying the park.
