Great site. I like the fact that RVs are not allowed here. You will have a quieter and more fun experience.
Be prepared to find wood for your campfire. We could not find a place to purchase wood.
Lake is beautiful and so are the night time stars.

We were unsure if we were going to be able to keep our reservations with the fire so close. We were able to stay one night and explore Lassen. It is absolutely beautiful. We loved our camp spot as well. Unfortunately we did not get to stay the entire time because the smoke from the fires started to affect the air. We hiked the Bumpass Hell trail. We had planned to hike Lassen Peak the day we ended up leaving. We hope to be able to go back and explore more.

Great little campground with a fun swimming hole. Bathrooms were very clean with very little odor!!! We had deer roaming the sites in the mornings and evenings with the lake right there. It was a magical experience!

The site we had was not good but this is a decent campground, with the lake nearby.

Brian was a great camp host! Such a beautiful place to camp inside the park. We were so lucky to stay before the smoke came from the fires. Wish the campground could open a little earlier in the year but understand. Love our local LVNP!
