Lots of mosquitoes and the vault toilets smelled throughout the camp. Especially in the morning. The views were great and the river refreshing. The town of Downieville is cute and really nice folks.

2022 Camp hosts very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Close to river is a plus. But if you have toddlers you should pick a site number farther from the river. There is a steep bank a small child could tumble down at a few of the spots. Beautiful setting.
