Beautiful campground next to the river. There were plenty of trees and level places for motor homes and tents. Very friendly and helpful camp host.

Amazing campsite. Camp host is always friendly. We come up every year and always have a great time. Campsites aren’t crowded, and are well spread apart.

I have always loved this campground. My complaint is how difficult it is to book my desired campsite online. I was ready to book exactly 6 months ahead at 7am. When I pressed the key it was already taken along with most of the other campsites we liked. I found out later that friends went up at the time I had tried to book and the campsite was available for them without a reservation. I wanted a double campsite when I was finally able to book 3 weeks later than we wanted and naturally it rained and most of the campsites were empty.
Any suggestions on how to book a desired campsite at the desired dates?

Our site had beautiful views of the river. Space between the sites was a little tight but not bad overall. No cell service.

The North Fork of the Yuba was flowing full and the campgroud was mostly empty. The bathroom facilites were clean and everyone we met was nice. Steve and Cash Gillis are great hosts, they helped make our stay enjoyable. Our stay at Indian Valley Campground this year was one of the best we have had.
