Nice Place to Camp. The road does give some noise but the stream mostly drowns it out. I would not want to be there in the middle of summer due to bugs, at least without good bug spray and some shelter. Would definitely go again.

Loved the experience. Fell asleep to the sound of a chorus of frogs and the sound of raindrops on the tent after a lovely fire. The nature walk the next day was glorious and refreshing. It felt like longer but we stayed 24 hours. The only thing I would like is if the water spigots were operational, but there were barely any other people there, so that was minor.

Very nice place just wish spots were bigger for overland trailer. Place is best for tents but didn’t stop us from finding a way 👍 to have a great time. Cheers

What a treat to live within a quarter tank of gas from this beautiful oasis. Have renamed it "Wheeler Gorgeous" ; also a brilliant place to scramble is only 25-30 minutes away in Piedra Blanca.

This is a great campground - our spot was pretty secluded and the river noise at night was wonderful to fall asleep to. We saw some field mice in the campsite, so make sure you put away all your food at night! We’ll definitely be back :)
