Came to the front park ranger said I was all set gave me a sticker so I could park by are you down below after I put my boat in. Sites are all clean was even some wood there. Lake was a nice temp. With plenty of water still. Nice cool night. Rangers watching the water and they're on Shore keeping an eye on things.

We had a great time. Was nice early day hot but wind. So canapies are good idea especially for down by water. Later in afternoon and night was hot and miserable so if you have a battery fan for tent it's advised. But the water is warm and nice. Really liked our camp spot. Kids loved it.

We picked up the trash from both our campsites left behind by other campers. Toilets and showers were disgusting and never cleaned. Rusting, pests, clumps of hair everywhere. Both men and women's areas need a lot of cleaning. Rangers are nice enough to announce why they are in your site. They just check to make sure that you are not parking your rv or trailer incorrectly. The amount of bugs were excessive, that's because of the heat and how close the sites are to the water. Still worth a visit on site 30 & 40. These are the best sites but a lot of bugs.

Awesome campsite close to the lake. Well maintained facilities and clean bathrooms. I'll go back for sure.

Pros: Nice, spacious site with a beautiful view. Cons: Poor campground etiquette of other guests (loud music, loud guests talking late into the night and early morning, bright lights from bikes at night, and the fire rings needs to be cleaned regularly).

I decided to give this new camp spot a shot as a first time place to bring my daughter camping. The location is wonderful and our spot was on the water. My friends and our kids had a blast. Only thing I’ll say is the lake has a lot of debris in it. Naturally occurring but it causes it to be one of the dirtier lakes I’ve gone in. Other than that it was a blast and we would return.

Not park fault but out of nowhere we got hit by a tornado/cyclone in our last day canopy camping gear flying all over the places. People yelling kids crying . we force to go home at 2am due it will come back. Just imagine 2am clearing our tent etc with phone light. And few flashlight.
