What Guests Are Saying
Pinnacles Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with a variety of wildlife, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to numerous hiking trails, including the highly recommended Bear Gulch Cave trail. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and generally private sites, making for a relaxing experience. While some noted issues with limited facilities and the presence of raccoons, overall, guests found the campground enjoyable and a great base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Pinnacles National Park.

The tent cabin was great. One double bed and two twins. Very comfortable. There are solar lights built in so don’t be afraid of the no electricity. Highly recommend staying here

Perfect trip! Parked Truckcamper in the campground and could walk to all the trails. Hiked way up to see condors close up! Magnificant. National Park store has great park souveniers and friendly helpful staff.

Location and campsite was good, but access to the bathroom was difficult during the visit. The closest to our campsite was down all weekend, the second closest has no light on the women side, so every trip needed a short drive to the main showers near the camp store. It was clean enough, but FAR.

The campground infrastructure is not great. One bathroom completely out, the other very smelly Port-a-potties - we have to walk for 15 min to get to a working bathroom.
Lots of crumbling buildings around the main store also.

On they way in the sign says all campers must check in. There's no parking for RVs anywhere close. We parked in front of the no parking signs because we couldn't find a place where we would fit and not get stuck. In front of the store it says you don't need to check in if you know your spot number. Well, make up your mind!
Most sites are spacious and relatively private. Site 12 had plenty of room for our 25' trailer and our truck. The site was lumpy and unlevel, critters have been digging a lot, it could use some maintenance. None of this stopped us from having a great weekend.

Plenty of space at the campsite, pretty flat which made it easy for leveling the trailer. Hot showers by the camp store were available at all times. No cell service.

Campsite is right next to the main road. Staff was not helpful. By far the worst park I’ve ever been to.

Thanksgiving is busy here. Be prepared for cold nights! Many are tent camping. Firewood is a must.
The campsite Loop D was mainly at the low valley flat surface. Good night views for stargazing.
The bathroom was out of order though, for at least one night.

Had fun at our campfire Thanksgiving... Start the hikes early to avoid the crowd.

Expect long lines and delays [or possible restrictions especially] between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
