Pinnacles Campground offers a beautiful natural setting with a variety of wildlife, well-maintained facilities, and easy access to numerous hiking trails, including the highly recommended Bear Gulch Cave trail. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms, hot showers, and generally private sites, making for a relaxing experience. While some noted issues with limited facilities and the presence of raccoons, overall, guests found the campground enjoyable and a great base for exploring the stunning landscapes of Pinnacles National Park.

Campsite was good, not much privacy but had a shady spot and a good amount of room for a fire. Raccoons are no joke, they will come right up to you and steal your food. Not aggressive but unafraid.

Location is great, star gazing is fantastic. The facilities are disappointing particularly for a National Park. The bathrooms are a long way from the campsites; they were closed for most of our stay and the showers were cramped when you could get one (there were only two for the entire campground). I understand that funds are scarce, but this is not a good look for a national treasure.

I stayed in one of the tent cabins and had such a great experience. I truly appreciated how clean, well-maintained, and comfortable everything was. The cabin had electricity, which was a huge plus for charging my devices (headlamps for Balconies cave!) and lights at night. It made the whole experience feel much more secure and relaxing.
The restrooms and showers were honestly better than I expected for a campground. Hot water, clean facilities, and great water pressure made it easy to stay refreshed after hiking all day. Everything felt thoughtfully set up and cared for, and I never had to worry about sanitation or access to what I needed.
This was my first time at Pinnacles Campground and it was both safe and welcoming. I’ll absolutely be coming back — maybe even staying longer next time!

The tent cabin was comfortable and work out well. The other facilities were fine. The hiking trails were well marked and designed for easy travel, even the ones that gain significant altitude.

Stayed at site 66. There’s good shade and a good lookout to see Candors soaring above. Only minus it that it’s quite a walk to real bathrooms, but close to the port-a-potties, which are not terrible.

No BR facilities in the RV section of the camp. Spacing between RV sites was OK, with a small amount of surrounding grass. The BR facilities near the CG entrance that were closest to the RV sites featured showers and flush toilets, but no soap for the sinks -- 3/5 quality. Small store at the CG entrance. Short drive to the trailheads. Overall 3/5.

General
- Generators are not allowed at any time in any site.
- Tent/RV Sites: 6 people, 3 tents and 2 vehicles or one vehicle and one trailer or RV/Motor home. Group sites: 20 people, 5 vehicles max. No RV’s, motorhomes or trailers allowed. Any self-contained vehicle designed for sleeping is considered an RV/Motor home. Extra vehicles MUST be left in the overnight parking lot. A tow vehicle plus a trailer counts as two vehicles. Social Trails: Avoid walking through other campsites, creek beds, and closed areas.Lighting: Party lights, disco lights, Christmas lights, travel trailer parking lights, any decorative lighting must be turned off starting at 10:00pm and ending at 6:00amParking: All vehicles and bicycles must stay on paved surfaces. Where parking pads are provided, vehicles must be parked with all wheels on the pad and may not extend into the traffic lane or into the campsite. All vehicles must be parked at thier respective campsites in front of the parking stops. Moving parking stops, driving beyond them or parking in another area/site will result in a ticket from NPS. If your vehicle does not fit in your site you MUST park it in the overflow parking area bhiend the store. Wastewater: carry to toilets for disposal. Washing dishes/clothing and brushing teeth at water spigots is prohibited.
- RV Sites: have 120v/ 30-amp service; EV CHARGING IS PROHITIED AT RV SITES, An EV charger is located by the store. Tent and group sites have no hook-ups. Generators are not allowed at any time in any site.
- Swimming pool: is open 4/1 to 10/31, weather permitting. No lifeguard on duty.
- Pets: allowed on leash in the campground but not on hiking trails. NEVER leave unattended.
- Wi-Fi: Guests receive 30 minutes of complimentary Wi-Fi. Extended access is available for purchase. Wi-Fi use is optional and not included in the nightly rate.
- Dump station: is available for registered guests.
- Trees: All trees, even when healthy and well-maintained, can pose a natural hazard of falling limbs. Visitors assume responsibility for any property damage, injury or other circumstances that may result from these hazards.
- Lost, Stolen or Damaged Property: Pinnacles Recreation Company is not responsible for loss or to property due to fire, theft, accident or any other cause.

- During peak visitation periods, access to the campground through the East Entrance station may be restricted. Delays can be expected due to high traffic volumes and parking reaching capacity. We advise planning accordingly to avoid prolonged wait times. Pinnacles experiences extremely high visitation on weekends, holidays, and during favorable weather, especially in the spring. Expect long lines and delays [or possible restrictions especially] between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm.
- Restrooms (Loop C) Loop C does not have flush restroom buildings. Portable toilets are located in Loop C. Flush toilets and sinks are available in nearby Loop B and Loop G.
