What Guests Are Saying
Tule Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious, well-separated sites and a friendly camp host. Many visitors appreciate the clean facilities, beautiful lake views, and ample family-friendly activities such as biking and fishing. Very nice RV park. The only negative experience was our last day Saturday October 28, 2023, a group of tent campers were across the road and one of their dogs was loose and roaming all over the place. I tried to walk my mininature schnauzer but the large dog came running over to us and scared both of us. Had to put my dog in the truck as the large dog roamed all over the place. Other then that experience, we enjoyed the stay.

There was no one there to register, no place to pay. But the real problem was the bathrooms and showers were absolutely disgusting and there was even feces in the shower, when inquired the next day I was told that there was a youth group there before that had caused the mess and then he told me the water was shut off so they wouldn't be able to get in there to clean.
Plus the place is full of trash, mostly micro trash, everywhere you look at the ground there is trash.

Tule campground was very hot in August. Tho there were many small trees planted that should provide some shade in the far future. The lake was beautiful.

Couldn’t level on our first site. Did on second site. It was during the week and it was quiet. Host was nice. They lost water but texted us to keep us informed when it was restored. Would come back.

Very unlevel ground. Toilets and shower were disgusting, unusable.
Trash, cigarette butts on the grass.
We didn’t see any ranger around.

My campsite was covered in cigarette butts, bottle caps and plastic lids. The grass is full of stickers and weeds. The site was so ridiculously slanted I had to go to Lowe’s and get some blocks to get it level. The entrance to the Sequoia from here is closed. You have to travel about an hour and half to get to the entrance of the park. Nice location, but they can do better. Much room for improvement.
