Tule Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with spacious, well-separated sites and a friendly camp host. Many visitors appreciate the clean facilities, beautiful lake views, and ample family-friendly activities such as biking and fishing. However, there are recurring issues with restroom cleanliness and maintenance, which detracts from the overall experience for some campers.

The campground itself is nice but the bathrooms and showers are disgustingly dirty. Cockroaches, black widows… they need to be cleaned and kept better. There was also no running water when we arrived. I was told it went out at 1am yet we did not get an email until 15mins before checkin and we’re unable to prepare for the outage. It was restored by the next day but it was a definite inconvenience. The staff was kind and helpful… only problem was the bathrooms.

The camp was clean and the staff excellent. We felt safe with security and the other campers were courteous. We had a wonderful weekend!

Site 29. Staff was very friendly. Site was damn near impossible to level the trailer. Trash and cigarette butts all over the site.
The campground was quiet and not crowded on a weeknight and the view of the lake and sunset were awesome. Probably would not stay here again.

The shade spot 38 provided was the best so far, the bathrooms are close by.

Lots of promise in this campground and is likely very nice if you have an RV and don’t rely on campground amenities. Definitely below par but maybe we got them on an off weekend. Bathrooms were closed and replaced with a single porta-potty that wasn’t cleaned the three days we were there. It was full when we arrived so I assume it’s cleaned weekly at most. It needs to be cleaned daily, you could not sit down anymore because it was out of room… There were extra porta-potties in storage outside the warehouse that were visible from the campground so it’s hard to give the benefit of the doubt.

The Staff, Sherriff and Park Rangers are beautiful people who show their care and love for the job and the people who visit the grounds. However if you are Black beware as the visitors are racist and make racist remarks in the presence of children. If you want to protect your family and enjoy a vacation without the added traumas we face anyways please choose another park. While the staff will be fair in their assessment of situations the people are aggressive and strong in their opinions of us who are not like them. As for the Entire staff thank you

Stay away from the South side, unless you like all the activity from the day use area until around midnight

The pictures of the campground and sites DID NOT reflect what we received. The pictures online looked great, green grass and nice-looking sites, but what we got were dead weeds and foxtails. Lots and lots of foxtails. I think pictures that truly reflect the sub- standard foliage and grass should be posted on the site. Very misleading and disappointing to say the least. The camp host came around to the site my son-in-law was at some 25 to 30 minutes after they arrived and said he was speeding through the campground. He was not, because I saw him driving through. The ranger and host drove faster than anyone through the campground.
