This is a very nice group campsite. The river is 75 yards away and very convenient. The campground was super quiet except for some cows moooing here and there.
There is a lot of room to spread out if you are in a tent and mostly level parking. There is a lot of poison oak though so be careful. We did see one rattle snake.
The river had a swift current so watch your little ones. There is some shade at the river but very little shade otherwise.
The vault toilets were very clean but we did run out of TP so Mae sure to bring your own.

We stayed at the group campsite. Bathrooms spotless, nice bear boxes, beautiful fire ring with benches, and even trash cans which we did not expect. Absolutely gorgeous spot on the river. Plenty of picnic tables & grills for any number of people, but if you really had a big group of up to 50 people, they would definitely not fit their tents. We nearly filled up the tent area with 5 small tents. Just FYI in case you got a big group.

Kirch Flat camp grounds is a really nice camp group. My one star is regarding my group camp site reservation. I was lockout of the site because 1. I wasn't aware that I would be provided lock code.
2. Because of no internet in the area of Kirch Flat, I didn't have access to more information that would have told me of the needed code. Needless to say I paid for a reservation that I couldn't use. Thankfully we we're able to use an uninhibited campsite and adjusted to our limited space and had a great time!
