Our campsite was adequate. It had good shade and was a little bit isolated from the rest of the campground. You have to park in the street in front of the site as there is no room to pull a car into the campsite itself. There is enough room for 5 - 6 person tent but nothing larger. You can access the stream from the site by walking a bit through some dense vegetation. But you are not on the river itself. Enjoyed the day use area for swimming and rope swing into the water. Nearby Quincy was a cute little town. Local Hikes from All Trails were also good. Spanish Ridge Route. The upper loop was far from the stream but the sites were 10x nicer...paved...larger...recently remodeled. Most of the campsites this weekend had way more than people in them than the allotted max they say can stay in each site. Which degraded the experience. The folks next to us had their generator on 14+ hours per day which also degraded the experience.

We could not get into the campground with our rig and had to go down the road and camp on the side of the road. The entrance was full of heavy equipment and trucks and blocked off for construction and there was no way to safely get in . The campground should have been closed at that time. We want our money refunded.

A quiet, clean place. NO complaints. Our new 'Go To.'
The host is also helpful, positive, and that just adds to our experience.

Beautiful campground. Swimming in the creek steps away. I actually like the train that comes through during the night. Camp host kept the bathrooms clean & stocked. All of the sites were clean & well kept. My only thing (which isn't anyone's fault) is the bees are bad.

This is our favorite campground because usually the facilities are well maintained and we enjoy the swimming hole at the creek and the family friendly atmosphere.
This year there were massive amounts of wasps. My mom & I both got stung twice, so I recommend being prepared for that.

We spent a great few days lounging and swimming. Everything was perfect. Camp host Jay was helpful and friendly. Can’t wait for our next trip!
