Many campers appreciate the spacious sites, scenic lake views, and well-maintained restrooms. Campsite was nice. Bathrooms have flushing toilets and showers. Our shower was not clean so we cleaned it before we showered. They have playgrounds for kids which is nice. The park rangers are friendly and they patrol the area frequently which is awesome it made us feel safe. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Nice views out there and we plan on going back soon when it is cooler weather!

There were 3 of us, Space 13, 14 & 28. We thought we had the best spots. Rangers & police drove thru quite often to monitor. All very nice!!!

I really enjoyed this campground! I went when it wasn’t very crowded and also the weather wasn’t too hot (there wasn’t any shade in my site so if it had been this may be a different story). I had good cell (Verizon) and the shower and bathroom facility was excellent compared to other campgrounds I’ve been to recently. Will come again.

The location and visa was great.Night was quiet and we saw a lot of rabbits hopping around the area. The grill and fire pit was great. The water tap was right at our campsite, and each site has a trash can. Loved all this.
However we had 2 issues
1. The restroom near our campsite number 20 was horribly dirty. We had to walk to the next nearest restroom which was more than 1.5 miles from our site.
2. This is not fault of the park, but the people who camped before us had left trash all over the place.. plastic bags and utensils

Just got home from our trip to Hidden View campground. I will lay out pros and cons
Pro
-Super easy check in process
-Campsite was mostly clean (a few beer bottles left behind)
-Campsite was large and shaded.
-Restrooms were clean
-Lake was clear and water temp was perfect.
Cons
-Not many activities if you don't own a boat. This was not a big deal since our goal was just to relax but I could see this being a problem for someone who wants hiking trails etc.
-Swimming areas was not clearly labeled. We found out later that there was a day area.
-Burrs!!!! So many burrs, it took us a while to find a spot by the lake that had minimal burs. My poor pup got so many!
Overall it was a wonderful stay and we have marked it for future trips.

I loved camping here, it's quiet and peaceful. Ranges check often and they had firewood available.

Close to restroom/showers. Plenty of shade. Easy to unload/pack. Clean firepit/campsite. No water, only electrical.
