What Guests Are Saying
Hidden View campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities and friendly staff, making it a great choice for relaxation and family activities. Many campers appreciate the spacious sites, scenic lake views, and well-maintained restrooms. However, noise levels can be an issue on weekends, and some rules regarding campsite usage are not always enforced. Overall, it's a popular destination for those seeking a peaceful outdoor experience, especially during cooler months.

We stumbled upon this as a stopover on our way home and ended up staying a few days. The lake is low but not unexpected in CA, I can’t imagine how beautiful it would be full. In Feb it was so quiet and only a few campers. It is on our list to return in a couple months. I can imagine in summer it is packed and hot.

From North Fresno, it is under 40 miles and under an hour to the campsites. Even though the lake level is low (up some from the Dec 21 rains in the Central Valley), this is a very good get away location. From basic tent campsites to RV level electricity/water hookups, with small to large size, there is a good variety to pick from for a few days stay. Over the air TV and cell phone service are acceptable. On this visit, the snow in the Sierras above Oakhurst was a great view from the eastside of the campground. The restrooms are always clean on every visit. All of the staff members are helpful, polite and friendly. Calif State Parks in the popular Coastal spots are now charging $10 to dump your tanks, here it is still free. Yay. There is a nice day use area (Buck Ridge) on the eastside of the lake with plenty of tables and restrooms.

Had a very peaceful one night stay at the park. The RV site was well-maintained flat and clean. Worked well with the electrical hook up. Unfortunately there was no dumping site. Will definitely love to come again if I am in the neighborhood
