The parks is lovely next to the Sacramento river in a shady sycamore grove. Easy access to Hwy 5 and near the town of Red Bluff. The host was quick to welcome us with a friendly greeting.

This is a nice place to camp if you are traveling along interstate 5. The sites are shaded by the trees but there isn't really any screening between sites so there is very little privacy. The campground host was very nice. There are clean restrooms and showers.

I like the campground, there are lots of shaded sites. This is my 3rd time at the campground and all was good except that the shower water would not go on. The temperatures had been up to 102 degrees the day before and I really was looking forward to taking a shower before continuing on my drive north into Oregon. It was an extreme let down that the shower water would not work. I felt very bad for the traveling nurse who needed to get to work and ended up having to wash her hair using the outside lawn watering hose.
