Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and friendly camp hosts, making it a great stop for travelers. Nice place. I really liked that we had a travel trailer and could have tents too.

The camp hosts do a great job of keeping the campground clean and are very friendly. I appreciate the work that they've done and the vibe that they have created there. I have been going there for over 40 years and it's the most pleasant visit that I had there in a long time.

I stayed at tent site #8, which is located across the road from a group campsite. There was a very noisy group that played loud music from the late afternoon to 10pm and it sounded like a nightclub. After the host (very friendly and thoughtful) spoke to them they turned off the music but shouted, laughed, and talked loudly till 2am. I was very glad to have brought my earplugs with me. On the other side of my tent site someone’s dog kept barking every time the group site made noise. I didn't get much sleep the first night. The next day, all the campers who were staying at tent sites near the noisy group site left. It was only me left and a couple of men from the noisy group walked past my tent site and glared at me aggressively. As a solo female camper this made me feel very uncomfortable This experience led me to realize that public campgrounds aren’t very pleasant for campers looking to quietly connect with nature. Gone are the days where everyone understood campground etiquette and respected a camper’s desire to focus on being out in nature. Most people who go camping want to hear the sounds of birds, frogs, crickets, a babbling brook, or even just wind blowing through the trees. Not the constant sound of dance music with pounding bass. After this experience I think private campgrounds may be better at enforcing peace and quiet. A couple of months ago I stayed at a Hipcamp campground where the owner of the property went to each site and strictly enforced noise curfews. If you do decide to come here, I don't recommend this site unless you don't mind staying next to a large (and potentially noisy) group.
