What Guests Are Saying
Fremont Campground offers spacious and well-shaded sites with clean facilities and a lovely natural setting near a creek and reservoir, making it ideal for a peaceful getaway. Many visitors praised the helpful and friendly camp host, though some noted strict rules and issues with the camp's management. Overall, despite a few drawbacks like the lack of flushing toilets and occasional rudeness from staff, most guests enjoyed their stay and expressed a desire to return.

Nice campsite, very spacious and lots of shade. From all the other surrounding campsites, 007 was the best. The floor is a bit unleveled but not too bad. The kids had a blast at the red rock river and playing soccer at our site. The only reason why I did not give it a five star rating is because there are no flushing toilets or showers. There were only porta potties that quickly got nasty. But besides that, the camp host was very nice and provided great guidance on how to get to the river. There is campfire wood available for sale. I do recommend this site 👍🏼.

Nice site! We were worried about being within eye/earshot of the road but cars went by so infrequently it didn't matter. Still had a lovely sunset and lots of birdsong in the morning. Wood is $10 per bundle at the camp host. Bathrooms are currently under construction so get ready for port-a-johns.

Site was clean upon arrival.
Host was nice and helpful.
I wish it was mentioned that bathrooms were out of service.

It was dry and dusty, not the green fields Recreation.gov shows, the only places to park are under the oak trees that drop acorns on your car the whole time. However this campsite was so peaceful and quiet at night ( off season) I did enjoy it.

We had a great spot, no.7 and there was heaps of space. No one around us on our side of the access road. Excellent campground for tent camping. Our stay was very quiet but that was in Nov.

This place was ok, but fair warning, this is privately managed. We had to pay extra per person and for an additional car. Strict quiet hours at 10. This is fine if that's what you're looking for, but we stay up late.

The camp host was kind and greeted us within 39 minutes of our arrival. The campsite itself was infest with bees that burrowed underground and came out of holes in the ground anytime we’d so much as make black coffee. We were swarmed multiple times by anywhere from 50-100 bees at a time. We stayed for 24 hours of our 72 hours booked and then left as it was impossible to enjoy even sitting outside of our tent. We are frequent campers and used to bugs and bees, unfortunately this experience was extreme and being unable to even sit outside made any sort of enjoyable camping here impossible.

It was a bit hot and the site #10 was on a slant but other than that great site. Portable bathrooms.

It's a nice basic camp ground next to the road, and you can hear all the traffic and all the neighbor camp conversations.
