Great campground with clean bathrooms and a variety of really good sites with privacy, tree coverage, and level tent spaces.

Los Prietos is a lovely campground featuring well-maintained, spacious sites with plenty of shade, friendly camp hosts, and clean facilities, making it an ideal spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts. While some sites are sloped and there were issues with yellow jackets and bugs, the overall atmosphere is peaceful and inviting. Visitors appreciate the proximity to recreational activities, including the Santa Ynez River and Lake Cachuma, enhancing the camping experience.

Very nice campground. Went in early spring and everything was so green. The oaks are magnificent. Wild turkeys everywhere. The campground itself was very well maintained and the bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Will definitely be back, just watch out for poison oak!

Best campground we’ve ever been to (and we’re old!). Beautiful tree canopy, green grass and wild turkeys. We’ll be going back. Don’t miss Aliso trail hike, wine tasting in Los Olivos and lunch at Cold Springs Tavern.

Lovely campground. The trees are gorgeous. I am highly allergic to poison oak so I didn't hike there, but it is a great location.
