What an awesome campground. It was perfect size and super easy to get in and out of. Plenty of hiking and mountain biking in the area. The only downside was that some of the surrounding areas were closed due to all the water in the Santa Ynez River and washed out access points. Other than that, the campground was clean and beautiful.

Beautiful campground. large campsites. Easy to access, yet quiet location. Camp host very helpful. Toilets are clean and stocked with toilet paper.

Enjoyed our stay. Facilities were good overall, I hope they get the bathrooms fixed soon. They probably need to have the temp porta potties serviced more, they needed it. Campground host Stephanie was very helpful.

My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights and had a great time. The host was friendly. The forecast for our weekend was rain so all but two others seemed to have canceled so there were only three campsites occupied. Our campsite didn't flood while we were there even though it did rain 2-3 inches. The bathrooms were closed and porta-pottys were the only option but there were several stocked and relatively clean. There is a road nearby and we could hear the occasional car pass through. One of the other campers had music that could be heard across the campgrounds throughout most of the afternoon and evening. Great convince to Santa Barbara/Goleta residents. Overall, we had a great experience and would go back.

I'm hesitant to post this review because I don't want too many people to discover one of my new favorite campgrounds, but this place was totally awesome. We went in January when the weather was good, and the area was beautiful, bug-free, and had plenty of cool things to do. The small campground is very clean, very spacious, and had attentive hosts. Lots of trails to explore and the nearby Santa Ynez River made the outdoors really fun, and Los Olivos being nearby was really fun when we were looking for a bit or a drink. Definitely keeping this one on our shortlist for nearby getaways.

Large campsite with ample parking and space for tents. Shaded most of the day. Puddling of water during and after rain in the parking area. Nice trail up adjacent hillside. Campground host hospitable. Water in river. Trail under road for access to river and whiterock day use area.

Really nice! Big area, nicely secluded in the hills. Not too far of a drive to SB and perfect location if you’re staying for outdoor activities like climbing.
Wrong entrance on Apple Maps tho. Drive about 2 more miles and there will be a plaque that says paradise campground.
