What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

We love coming to Dinkey every year. I understand the restroom situation this time wasn’t ideal but the staff were really welcoming and explain to us why. I really appreciated that. Can’t wait for the next trip!

This is a very nice campground if you have small kids as there is plenty of water for the kids to soak in.
The only negative thing I could say, they had an issue with the water supply and all the toilets were closed. They did supply Porta Potties at each restroom but my wife is not too fond of those things. ( they did send me a text message a few days before our trip to inform us)
Over-all, it was a very nice clean campground!

This was our first camping trip to Dinkey Creek and we are already planning another! It would be a 5 star review except that their was a closure of the bathrooms in the loops nearest our site. Jason and Justin of the staff were very good about updating us which we appreciated.
They also provided info on things to see in the area, including the Incense Cedar tree that is over 600 years old, the historic sawmill, and the McKinley Grove.
We could hear the sound of the Creek most places in the campground, and the night sky was beautiful through the trees.
We liked that there is a small general store that has a kitchen serving great old fashioned burgers and other yummy items, be sure to visit for lunch.

Received a call that the campground was running low on water so we had to take all our water for dishes, drinking, etc.(I didn’t mind that)but was not informed the bathrooms were not working, and Porta potties were provided. The first day on Friday was fine, but by Saturday afternoon, the porter potties were getting full. Super gross
