What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

Had another great year of making memories. Some campsites did not have flushing toilets due to the water levels but porta potties were allowed. Water for campfires was available. We drove up to the Mc Kinley Giant Sequoias, not far from camp, 20 minutes max. Worth it!
Meat flies were visiting this year and stinky traps were set about. Hosts dud a great job at keeping noise levels at bay on a busy father's day weekend!

We stayed in 75 and our friends stayed in 76 and they were the perfect sites to be next to someone you were camping with! There was no potable water, but the bathrooms were kept pretty clean and the site was close to the creek- a 5 minute walk at most. We had a great time!

Only complaint is the bathrooms were closed. Outhouses were available but they were so full scary to use.

Place was clean when we got there. Easy to find spots. Camper's last names are posted on their corresponding site. Unfortunately a lot of trees were taken down and the site does not get much shade during the whole day and it's very close from other couple of neighboring sites. The restrooms are close from the site and closest one has toilets with running water. They're generally clean and well kept. There is a store at the entrance to the campsites but they close early and expect prices to be high. Be prepared for cold nights even if the temperatures during the day are high.
