What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

Awesome campground. The sites are hit or miss with shade. A lot of trees have been cut down so some of the pictures are not up to date. Bring pop ups and you’ll be fine.
The camp hosts are some of the best I’ve ever dealt with. We had a truck parked in our spot when we showed up.
We let the staff know and they took care of it right away. The store and showers at the entrance are a big plus.
We had a great time and will be coming back again.
Also there was no cell service at all.

Another year at Dinkey Creek in the book. This time we RSVP #17 which I consider the best spot I’ve stayed at. Spacious, good covering, perfect distance to both restrooms, level for our trailer.
Wife enjoyed stargazing at a clearing between the waterfall and general store.

The view is good. My campsite is nice as well.
the only downside is my campsite needs to keep climbing...

The staff were amazing but the Management Company, Vista Recreation from Phoenix Arizona, needs to be fired. They neglect to give the staff supplies to get their job done properly. Example is the at staff have only 2 toilet brushes for cleaning the entire recreational area bathrooms. While there, the bathrooms and water faucets ran out of water. No toilets for days and the outhouses were not within reach. This happened at the end of last season and the problem was not corrected. Only by exhausting work did the staff locate the leak in the Fire Line near the kiosk. When one of the staff reported it to Cal-fire, she was severely chastised and threatened by Vista HR department.
You are losing great workers due to the mismanagement of Dinkey Creek by VIsta Recreation.
Please give this your attention. It is so sad to see such a wonderful campground, that we have gone to for over 40 years, suffer at the hands of this inept company.

I enjoyed my trip! This site had a good flat area for my tent and was close to the creek. Would definitely stay here again
