What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

We are regulars at Dinkey. The group site is unique and lovely, and there are many things to do at and around the campground. Some things for improvement: 1. It would be fantastic if the group site could get flush toilets; there are already a few throughout the campground, and it would make the added expense of the group site more worthwhile.
2. The convenience and comfort of the campground is provided in large part by the privately run store. I don't know what the official relationship is between the camp and the store, but the shower services are beginning to fall apart. I believe only half of the showers were functioning and there are simple things like hooks for clothing that are not in the stalls. I'm not sure what can be done, but we found that cleaning up was more difficult this year, and that adds to the inconvenience/discomfort level of one's stay.

I reserved site 47 and 46. I read before site 47 was one of the best, but I found site 46 to be great. There's enough room for 6 tents. Each of my kids like their own. Lol also next time I plan on reserving 45 and 46. They are much closer together and would be great! Only bad issue is the people across were summer loud at midnight.

This site was spacious and close to bathrooms and water. Staff was friendly and the general store was walking distance. Loved our stay and coming back to enjoy the water with our kids.

The place and environment were amazing! There is a nearby restroom, the campsites are clean, restrooms are clean, there is a creek nearby to swim, a few fishing spots, and hiking trails.
There is no connection up there what so ever, I have Verizon. It is nice and quiet. Me and my family, will visit again in the future!
