What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

Fantastic place. Don’t like people using generators though. The ranger was kind of a jerk

Disappointed to find that there is no potable water at camp, despite recreation.gov indicating drinking water is available. Would like to see recycling bins adjacent to trash dumpsters, so if you camp here, bring plenty of water (or prepare to treat/filter it) and plan to haul out your recyclables please!

We asked for a reservation at the gate, told that the disabled veterans rate was $18 and then paid another $20 for our three vehicles. We took one look at the site and people near us shooting compound bows and being I the sun and left immediately. We were told there were no refunds. We were there for 5 minutes.

Family friendly, great hiking spots and water holes for children. Spacious campsites and great store if you forget anything.

Very good time, but need to install bear boxes and have trash bins locked. There were 3 bears in camp and we were concerned for tent campers. Also there should be a daily posting up front so when you enter the campground you know the activity of the bears. It would be nice if camp host would tell of weather changes . There was snow and no one came to let us know it was in the forecast. At the National parks they give you a warning then you can decide if you want to stay. Thanks
