The campground was not shaded as described. You are literally right next to the next campsite. The roads within the campground are poorly maintained. Wouldn't stay there again.

My family and I have been camping here for the past 17years and we have never had any problems until this year, many times we would say good morning to the staff and they would ignore us and drive past us, at 9:55pm staff pulled up to our site and told us it was quite time keep in mind it was 9:55pm and at check in I was told quite time was from 10:00pm-8:00am I don’t understand why we were told we had to be quite when it wasn’t time yet and we were not being loud whatsoever. We were glad that we did not have any bear encounter unlike last year.

I had fabulous time at Dinkey Creek! Campsite met our needs (we have a decent sized family tent). We appreciated this site's close proximity to two different bathrooms/water spigots. Many of the trees at this campsite had been cut down in recent years, so it does not have much shade or a feeling of privacy/seclusion. I definitely recommend bringing a shade structure. Also, the space where a tent goes (between the picnic table and fire pit) is not huge. It was fine for our tent, though we did not use the fire pit. I think it would be a really tight squeeze with one of those gigantic multi-room tents that a lot of people have. Overall, we had a great time and look forward to returning!

- Register at the campground office upon arrival.
- Reserved sites must be occupied or they will be forfeited.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
