What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

Dinkey Creek is one of my favorite place to camps. The camp sites and bathrooms are very clean. There are so many things to do a and see. You can take a hike, fishing, swim, horse back ride or take a drive to McKinley Grove Big trees or just sit and enjoy the beautiful nature.

Love that everything is clean and there is no internet. The kids got to play and get dirty like the good old days. Family had a blast!

I love it so much that I won’t share my experience so that it doesn’t inspire more visitors.

Spread out sites. Flush toilets, hot showers at store. Fishing below average - not regularly stocked. Great hikes/scenery. Sites quite bared due to the lack of trees.

Lots to do and see. We had ZERO mosquitoes which was great! We had several families come along so we had several different sites. All the kids had so much fun! The big trees aren’t far as well nor is shasta lake so those were things we did as well.

Great campground. The creek was beautiful. Campsites are closer than preferred but overall very well maintained. Staff was great!!!
