What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

If you’re looking for a place or your kids can run free, make noise, laugh, run, and enjoy themselves this is not the place. This time around we couldn’t play music not even low.
We have been coming to Dinkey Creek for the past six years our last five years were memorable, we played music, played games, laughed, hiked, went in the creek and enjoyed ourselves. This year we don’t know what changed, management? Grounds keepers?
From the moment we arrived we were targeted.
The Grounds keeper was rude, shoved papers in my 17 year olds face. Yelled at my husband when my husband wasn’t even at the camp site while we were playing music. He Kept making rounds and found any little thing to complain. Honestly this all started when we played Mexican music.
So if you have kids, want to play music during non quiet time hours, laugh, run, and play, this is not the place to camp at.
Rude, racist, no customer service!

Our site was conveniently next to the general store that offered everything we needed for a reasonable price. Staff was friendly and the bathrooms were usually well kept. There was one day where both bathrooms were out of order and we had to walk a quarter mile to the restroom at the ranger station. It's a great place to relax either at the campsite or the creek nearby. Every hike is a drive to get to, so best to stay and relax unless you plan on the drive and some off roading.

Great park and area! Loved the creek and the nearby grove of redwoods! Rangers were friendly and helpful. Our site was clean and inviting. Lots of trees down but still had shade and a canapy . Bathrooms were great and clean. No water that was drinkable. The website does not tell you that, we barely had enough water for our stay! And signs tell you not to use the pump water. We loved our stay but they should get drinkable water to the pumps!
