What Guests Are Saying
Dinkey Creek offers a beautiful natural setting with excellent hiking opportunities and friendly camp hosts who provide helpful service. The campground is well-maintained, and many visitors appreciate the spacious campsites and clean facilities. However, issues such as the lack of functioning flush toilets and potable water have caused some inconveniences, alongside noise from generators and nearby campers. Overall, many families enjoy returning to this campground for its charm and the memorable experiences it provides.

Beautiful spot , nice fishing. Although I had high expectations reading reviews I didn't expect them to be so strict. We just started setting up at 2pm put some music on mind you it wasn't loud at all . Within 30 mins the owner came by telling us to turn it down. Then he kept driving down our loop throughout the day . I totally felt uncomfortable. He then came by again in the morning 6am sharp complaining about our car that we paid extra for additional car to fit in our parking spot . Said we had to rearrange it. So we did.... then 1030am came and here he was asking me if I was leaving yet. I said checkout it at 12pm , we have our stuff ready we were just eating breakfast. I never felt so uncomfortable camping somewhere. I told my family and kids let's just go.

Dinkey Creek is a wonderful campground with fun for the whole family. We cannot wait to return. It’s one of our very favorite spots in the Western Sierra.

Dinkey Creek is our favorite camping place for our annual church camping. The children always enjoyed the natural slide and swimming pools. The toilet is spacious and very clean...always. Camp personnel always make it a point to keep the toilet clean and also the people are respectful to keep it clean. There's also plenty of shades all over the camp sites. We have been here many times and will never tire coming back even if it means 6 hours drive for most of us coming from San Bernardino County.

Loved it here! We had space #121 with our Travel Trailer and fit perfectly. The sites in the "K" loop are at the end of the campground and back right up to the forest. This is a very dog-friendly campground so bring your pooches!

Great spot. Nice clean restrooms. Excellent campsites. Really enjoyed ourselves
Plenty to do and no cell phone access! If you do need to get connected to the real world, just a short 15 minute drive or so to get reception.
