Average stay at the tent cabins. Location could certainly benefit from regular cleaning and upkeep

Great time at the Manzanita Camping Cabins as usual. Many of the hikes around the area were accessible. Chaos Crags was a good moderate hike and there was water in the lake. Spent some time down in Old Station also. Great community of 51 people and finally got to to experience Subway cave. Next year it will be the Spatter Cone Nature Trail.

Great clean cabin! Screens/doors sealed tightly and no bugs got in (must have been fixed since a previous review). The fire pit and picnic bench are close to another cabin so it's not the most private site. Overall we loved it, definitely an upgrade from tent camping!
FYI as of June 2024 shower and laundry facilities at the campground are closed.

Always a great location for family stay but showers were down and we were not given notification until we arrived. Also, blinds and screens in cabins were pretty worn out. Time to improve general maintenance due to wear and tear.

Bring a mattress pad or two.
Showers and Laundry are unavailable in the park.
The cabins are very basic. Cabin 15 has a porch with two chairs and a little table, inside a table and chairs and a bed. Outside a fire pit, picnic table and bear box.
If you like firm beds that are harder than the ground, it's perfect. The pilot light on the heater causes the room to heat up overnight. Glad it was a beautiful weekend and the whole park was open.

Great spot, cabins were clean and well set up. Check in super easy and right. Short walk to lake and near-by facilities. Excellent spot to finish up after a day in the Park.

The heater was not functioning. It is essential to verify before settling in for the night. If I am going to shell out more than $100, the heater must be operational. I would have stayed at a campground with a tent and paid a lower amount.
