What Guests Are Saying
Cottonwood Creek is a beautiful, well-maintained campground offering a peaceful retreat with clean facilities and a variety of nearby activities. Visitors appreciated the solitude, cleanliness, and natural beauty, making it ideal for camping and outdoor photography. However, some campsites were uneven or small, and there were occasional wasps, but overall, the positive experiences outweigh the negatives, with many guests planning to return.

Great place, nice trees around. Creek nearby. Really only downside was the road noise sometimes. It was our second time there and we'll be back again.

Sites are pretty well spaced. Fire pit was the best I’ve used. Outhouse was clean. Legs of the picnic tables are sawed off leaving the bench about 10” off the ground. Prefect for toddlers but adults knees hit underside of table, couldn’t sit at the table to eat. We couldn’t find access to the nearby creek. Host wasn’t present at check in and someone had taken our rsvd space. We were able to get a different space eventually but host should have been there to prevent the mistake.

Because that time of year is always iffy, it was rainy and almost snowy. It was extremely quiet, right on the river, and easily accessible. The only thing that would make it better would be showers.
