Not sure why agents don’t have control on reservations when someone walks in to ask for availability camp ground and say we don’t have any openings it’s full and I see lots open spaces and they have no access to reserved spots

We loved our stay here in camp Richardson, the camping facilities were good, and the store and ice cream shop were great. Great location

Good to have showers with hot water. But there’s no potable water water and people were noisy after 10pm plus some noise from the road.

Great place to camp with the family. Beach ice cream and bike rides all within walking distance.

Clean restroom and showers. Campsites clean and spaced reasonably apart.
Short walk to the water but we didn’t care for the beach. Too many boats but I’m sure that attracts some people. Had a few bear visits.

It was great experience; however, a few issues can help improve cramping
There was a loud noise after 10 pm from all directions
There are not soap and paper towels at the restrooms

Badger's Den Campground is located 3 miles south of Tahoe City, on California Highway 89 (Emerald Bay Road).
From Sacramento, take U.S. Highway 50 to South Lake Tahoe and proceed north past the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Highway 89 (the "Y"). Look for the Camp Richardson Resort sign on the right side of the Highway.
From North Shore (I-80, Reno, Truckee) take Highway 89 or U.S. Highway 50 to South Shore.
