Beautiful grounds and large campsites. Bathrooms were not great and there wasn’t anywhere to wash dishes besides the bathroom sinks. Proximity to the lake was lovely.

We stayed at campsite 203 during Memorial Day weekend, and this campground quickly became my favorite! The lake is stunning, with cold crystal-clear water and far fewer crowds than Lake Tahoe, which is a mile away. Our site offered privacy and was conveniently close to the restroom, which was cleaned every morning.

This campground was an awesome experience. Site 141 was large enough for our 28ft. TT and full size-truck. The paved site was nice and level. Overall, the sites were pretty spacious. The concession company contracted to maintain the campground was great. The staff were very helpful. The bathrooms and showers were clean. There is a nice and convenient dump station on grounds. There is also an abundant amount of potable water faucets around the campground to fill up an RV/TT water tank. Regarding site 141, there is a nice looking pine tree just off the pad, in the middle, that prevented our awning from being completely open.

We discovered this campsite a few years ago, and it’s truly become a core part of our camping memories and traditions. We’ve celebrated birthdays here, watched our son learn to ride his bike without training wheels, spotted multiple bears, dealt with a few scraped knees, and even renewed our wedding vows — just to name a few highlights. Over time, we’ve tried different spots and found some favorites. It’s amazing how close you are to everything, but at the same time, it feels incredibly secluded — like your own little corner of the wilderness.
Do people occasionally walk through your site? Sure. Will you hear the hum of a generator running all day from a few sites over? Of course. Not every single trip has been ideal — but honestly, that’s what makes it all the more memorable.
When we first started camping here, we had a big six-person tent from Costco. Then came the pop-up camper. Now, we bring our travel trailer and enjoy the outdoors with our kids — and now, our two new dogs too. It’s been amazing to watch our family grow here, season after season.
All the camp hosts we’ve met over the years have been fantastic — always friendly, helpful, and part of what makes this place feel like home. My hope is that one day, my kids will come back here with their own families, continuing the tradition and remembering all the great memories we created together.
Happy camping, everyone. May your time here be as meaningful as ours has been

The two sites were perfect. Lots of room. Staff there were amazing. They deliver ice and wood if you need it. Bathrooms were clean. Will definitely be going back.
