Great spot, pretty private for how big the campground is

This was our group’s annual week at Fallen Leaf and we never failed to come away feeling happy and refreshed. We did a little touring this trip and walked through the old Tallac estates which are just across the highway from the campground’s entrance then walked along the boardwalk at the visitors center. Lots of bear sightings this year… more than usual so please remember to use the bear boxes in camp. We’ll be back next year!

Beautiful lake! Went kayaking, sat on the beach with our books. Water is cold but several people went swimming. We saw a young bear.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fallen Leaf Campground. The park has been well maintained and the restrooms were clean and in working order as were the showers. The staff was also very friendly and attentive to keeping the bear out of the sites.

The staff at Fallen Leaf were great.
Recommendation:
Our original assigned spot was barely big enough to park our 26' RV trailer which has total length of 30' which meant no room to park our truck. This has not been a problem on our many other reservations over the years at your other parks.

We were tent camping, and a massive motor home pulled in next to us. They ran their…what sounded a gas furnace, every 30 minutes throughout the night and most of the day.
I really love the location of this campground, but this was extremely disappointing.
