Definitivamente volveremos pronto

Camp ground was nice enough. Clean water was out for the entirety of our trip due to an e-coli outbreak even though they sent an email saying it would be resolved by the time we arrived. Also lots of bears.

The sites are beautiful, some lovelier than others. We arrived when the water supply was turned off due to contamination, but that couldn't be helped. The bears were everywhere, day and night, so vigilance regarding all food and cosmetic items was essential.

This is our first time at Fallen Leaf CG. The sites are spaced to give the camper space from other campers which we liked. The restrooms were clean however the city water was contaminated during our stay and we were unable to shower. There are many hiking trails and a paved trail that one could easily bike to and around Lake Tahoe. This CG is in easy walking distance to Fallen Leaf Lake which was beautiful.

Great spot, you get a lot of space and privacy. Restrooms nearby. A bit further away from the lake (~0.5 miles flat one way) but we did not mind the extra short walk.

I t was great, but you flooded out the camp site. And the one next to us. I realize there was e coli , but someone should of stated to see what was going to happen when they let the water out. That was dumb! We could of lost all the wood we brought. Over all it was beautiful.
Could get a free night if possible??
Thanks!

The weather was beautiful. The campsites were comfortable and spacious. We could walk to the lake and our dogs could swim. We were also close to bike trails. We will return

I’ve been going to Fallen Leaf Lake since childhood and swimming in it is my favorite summer activity. This year was cut short due to the bear activity. It wasn’t the bears ambling through my site that made me pack up my tent, it was the horns honking, pots banging, alarms blaring to scare them off that made me decide I’d rather have the peace and quiet of home.
