What Guests Are Saying
Nevada Beach Campground is highly praised for its stunning location near Lake Tahoe, clean facilities, and friendly staff, particularly campground hosts Adam and Janet. Campers enjoy the beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forests, as well as the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the shoulder season. While reservations can be challenging to secure and some amenities, like restrooms, need improvement, the overall experience is characterized by cleanliness and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many.

Nevada Beach Campground is my very favorite in the area. Each site has generous space, a bear proof box, picnic table, and fire pit. As a local, I have camped at Nevada Beach Campground yearly, up to three times a summer. The last several years that hasn't been possible, due to all sites being reserved within minutes January 1, when the reservation site opens.

Had a fantastic stay at the Nevada Beach Campground. One of the cleanest and quietest campgrounds I have ever stayed. This was right before the busy summer season. The hosts were friendly and super helpful. We biked in and loved the easy commute it my bike and having breakfast on the beach.

The campsite was probably the cleanest site I've been to, even raked! The staff consistently ride around checking and cleaning up the grounds, taking pride in their space. They also communicated any bear sightings and were a friendly resource for local hikes.

It’s not cheap but it’s a great experience in Lake Tahoe! The view is stunning, with beautiful sunsets and sunrises and you can enjoy the beach whenever you want! The campground is almost on the sand.
The only things missing are: shower/ and dump. No possibility to take a shower, to fill your water tank or use a dump station so be prepared.

The hosts were very friendly, I never wondered if I was welcome!! Very helpful when I had a minor emergency getting hooked up…they came up with a solution that got me to an ace hardware ..I had to replace a pipe used to lift the sway bar ( anti-sway) …the camp ground was well cared for and it showed…very clean! Thank you for a great week …if I had anything I didn’t like … it would be the people walking off path through the campsite.. …coming from outside the campground….it can be kinda awkward

We had a nice site next to the beach. The site had a spaciouis picnic area with a picnic table, a bear-proof locker and two grills.
