What Guests Are Saying
Zephyr Cove RV & Campground offers a beautiful location with stunning views of Lake Tahoe and a serene atmosphere, particularly in the off-season when it is less crowded. Many guests appreciate the clean and well-maintained sites, friendly staff, and proximity to the beach and other attractions. However, some reviews mention issues with bathroom cleanliness and management, especially during peak times, along with concerns about pricing and discount availability. Overall, it remains a popular choice for camping, especially in winter.

Amazing as usual. Expensive but worth the splurge. I will stay here again.

I thought the campground and beach area were beautiful. We were lucky to have the added bonus of snow falling when we got there and it looked so nice in the pine trees. We liked the convenience of the lake across the street and lots of areas to take walks to the east of the main beach area. Although we were there in off season and I am not so sure I would like it during the summer as the campsites are close and there would be too many people there for me at that time of year. We will visit again in the off season!! Zephyr Cove also was convenient to visiting other very beautiful areas and shopping for groceries.

Our pull-thru site had a view of Lake Tahoe. And the trees planted in the campground were gorgeous.
Would definitely stay here again.

Nice location and services, a little pricey but the area is quite expensive in general.

The bathrooms were horrible. We came on a Thursday and they weren’t cleaned again until Wednesday . They were out of paper towels, toilet paper, and it was a mess. The showers were barely warm. There was only one bathhouse open for the entire campground and one was closed. We never saw anyone connected with the campground coming around to check on anything. The location is fabulous as it’s across the street to the beach.

No staff at the campground, had to walk across the highway for check in. Sites were clean and had no issues with utilities.

Great location. Close to South Shore but far enough away to get a feel of being "away." beautiful area to camp. close to highway but never really noticed much noise. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the near future. thank you for the great time camping.
