What Guests Are Saying
Zephyr Cove RV & Campground offers a beautiful location with stunning views of Lake Tahoe and a serene atmosphere, particularly in the off-season when it is less crowded. Many guests appreciate the clean and well-maintained sites, friendly staff, and proximity to the beach and other attractions. However, some reviews mention issues with bathroom cleanliness and management, especially during peak times, along with concerns about pricing and discount availability. Overall, it remains a popular choice for camping, especially in winter.

The good: location! It’s right across the street from the lake! The bad: walk-in campsites are up a steep hill that you have to carry all of your gear up. That was exhausting. Also, the price is ridiculous for what you get.

It's a great and quiet campground. all the amenities you'll need are there. it's very clean. The office in the campground itself doesn't actually have staff, but if you go across the street they're right there.

Clean and sites are in the middle of pine trees. Great location. Just as other reviewers noted, some sites can be very close to each other and un-leveled. Ours was alright. 138 adjacent to us is bigger. 140 is small, and their picnic table is right next to our sewer hookup.

Love the local staff and the campground. A definite go-to for winter camping. Clean restrooms and consistently hot showers this year are a nice improvement.
Removal of the Eligible Pass Discounts this year and the lack of local and rec.com help to change this has earned a single star. Remedy this and it's Five Stars again.

We visited off season (November), the RV portion of concessions were shut down, so check in was across the street at the resort. Site is apparently “cash-less” so if you plan on using the available laundry, you’ll need to come prepared with quarters. Restrooms and shower facilities were decent & reasonably clean. Full hookups were convenient.

Too loud even past midnight. Loud music contintued past midnight. Group size not enforced at all. Some standard sites had more than 10 people.
