What Guests Are Saying
Zephyr Cove RV & Campground offers a beautiful location with stunning views of Lake Tahoe and a serene atmosphere, particularly in the off-season when it is less crowded. Many guests appreciate the clean and well-maintained sites, friendly staff, and proximity to the beach and other attractions. However, some reviews mention issues with bathroom cleanliness and management, especially during peak times, along with concerns about pricing and discount availability. Overall, it remains a popular choice for camping, especially in winter.

Beautiful campground amongst ponderosa pine trees with views of Lake Tahoe. Long convenient RV parking site with close proximity to South Lake Tahoe and Heavenly Ski Area. Nice restaurant and bar nearby and well appointed camp store. Highly recommend Zephyr Cove.

Made a reservation for 11 nights, upon arrival found that the campsite we reserved was occupied and appears that the camper in the site has been there for a long time. (Tent set up as a living room and 80” tv mounted to the outside of the RV). A lot of trash all over the campground, including boxes of camping gear and Christmas lights left at a site. The site we were moved to had burned Christmas lights in the fire pit. The excuse at the office, “short staffed”. Woke up this morning to find the most beat up and trashed camper next to us, no site reservation. It snowed pretty hard while we were here and they only plowed once, during the middle of the storm, then came back two days later. Then it was one pass around the campground and that’s it. They never cleared the sidewalks to the bath house or in front of the dumpster, I did those myself. Very poorly managed campground. Maybe they should hire a camp host🤔

The entire staff from the incredible and interesting people who registered the site to everyone in the restaurant were fantastic!
Thank you

Great location, across the highway from the Lake, on the south-lake, nevada side. Nestled in trees, with a quick walk to the water. Mostly clean (though someone dumped a bunch of trash in front of my pad one evening...*sigh*), and a bit of room between sites makes it comfortable. My pad (174) was not completely flat, but a couple of my ramps mostly corrected that. Winter time means you check in across the way in the restaurant. Bathrooms were clean and plentiful. Overall, two nights in a good, clean place in the winter sierras.
