What Guests Are Saying
Nevada Beach Campground is highly praised for its stunning location near Lake Tahoe, clean facilities, and friendly staff, particularly campground hosts Adam and Janet. Campers enjoy the beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forests, as well as the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the shoulder season. While reservations can be challenging to secure and some amenities, like restrooms, need improvement, the overall experience is characterized by cleanliness and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many.

Outstanding location. Great facilities. Lots of room for each site to spread around. Would love to be back.

Beautiful campsite and campgrounds. Very large. The staff was so friendly. The beach is breathtaking . The only negative for me, no showers. Other than that it was awesome

The staff was the most courteous and friendly of ANY camp we have ever stayed at. The facility was well kept and clean. An added attraction is the paved bike trails into the city AND most importantly! connect with Round Mountain Campground to the north with its on-Beach Refreshment Bar and quality food service. The Macadamia/aioli sauce Shrimp was comparable to a fine restaurant, including a flower decoration on the plate. An added note, we did have the local slushy cocktail while we were there....

We stayed in 033, which was a bit sunny, luckily it was breezy,
It would be nice if this area had hot water in the bathroom’s which I feel there should be a least 1 more and a place to wash dishes not everyone wants to rv and this is wildlife country so throwing dish water in the bushes should not be the only option
Staff is fantastic in this area

Great campground. Heavy pollen in June though so if you have allergies don't go then. Recommend Edgewood Golf Course Brooks Bar and Deck for casual meal and drinks. (No dogs allowed on property) Lovely setting.
Nevada Beach is very popular especially with dogs. It is unfortunate that a few owners don't respect the rules and let their dogs bark and whine. Usually they are left unattended at the campsite and are very distressed about this.(Not allowed but not enforced.)

Host working front office when I arrived at check in was extremely nice & informative. Love that about a campground, felt very welcomed. Bathroom was extremely clean & taken care of. There were some other hostesses I believe walking the beach front making rounds to make sure the beach was not polluted with junk. All of the staff I met throughout the trip were kind. No bad things to ever say about this place. Favorite spot to stay at along the Lake.

It would be an improvement to have showers at this campground

We enjoyed the facilities and camp site but the leash requirements were not enforced and we grew tired of loose dogs approaching and crossing our camp site or walking in trails or roads without leashes which agitated our dog on a leash. The animals dedicated and people did not pick up after their dogs. People crossed through our camp within feet of the door to our RV too invasive and distressing. Set firm rules on leashes, pet waste pick-up and crossing through camps and enforce them. Enforce them - enforce them. Kick offenders out - no warnings they don’t care. I don’t want confrontations when camping. Solve it.
