What Guests Are Saying
Nevada Beach Campground is highly praised for its stunning location near Lake Tahoe, clean facilities, and friendly staff, particularly campground hosts Adam and Janet. Campers enjoy the beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forests, as well as the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the shoulder season. While reservations can be challenging to secure and some amenities, like restrooms, need improvement, the overall experience is characterized by cleanliness and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many.

Courteous helpful staff and nice wide spaces for our RV. Online booking was also easy and effective.

I love this campground. I hate that a lot of the guest registered didn't show up, considering you can never get a reservation. I wish there was a confirmation/cancellation policy to open space up of guest that don't show up for others to use their spot.

Very busy campground. Reservations almost impossible to get online. No more first come first serve spaces. Miss the old NV beach...

As a senior with some issues & camping in a tent I’m pretty outnumbered by huge RV’s. They really interfere with my peace because one or the other is running a generator during my favorite hours of the day, morning meals & dinnertime. They absolutely are feeling entitled. Other than that the natural environment is beautiful. The restrooms are well cleaned. It would be very good if there was a short term parking near the beach entry for handicapped. I have a hard time walking pretty far to go for a swim. Tahoe has the best swimming beach I’ve ever had so I’ll keep trying to walk to it, but tent camping needs to be separate from the RV’s.

DO NOT STAY AT CAMPSITE #28! There is a loud pump house that hums all day and night. I could not sleep listening to that humming noise. I was so tired my entire stay. It sucked! Maybe they should eliminate campsite 28.

We had my grandmothers memorial here. It was her favorite beach. I’m happy there was a comfortable spot where we could freely gather and set up the way we liked.

It would be a great if the park could be updated with some hookups. A lot of people don’t keep there dogs on leashes also dogs are not kept on the dog beach. Some people run there generators as early as 6am. The restrooms are clean even with so many day use people. It’s a very enjoyable camp ground with just a few people not following the rules.

Love that there are flush toilets, the campground and bathrooms are kept very clean and it's super close to the beach. I almost don't want to write an excellent review because it's already hard enough to get a spot to camp as it is! Two negatives: there are lots of ants and don't try to go to Safeway 8-10am or 4-6pm as the main road is backed up with cars trying to park in the lot for daily use of the beach.
