What Guests Are Saying
Nevada Beach Campground is highly praised for its stunning location near Lake Tahoe, clean facilities, and friendly staff, particularly campground hosts Adam and Janet. Campers enjoy the beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forests, as well as the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the shoulder season. While reservations can be challenging to secure and some amenities, like restrooms, need improvement, the overall experience is characterized by cleanliness and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many.

I spent many magical summers at Nevada Beach camping when I was young. I guess all good things must end, because now, not so much. It seems kind of dirty and trashy, and the bathrooms were horrendous. For what they're charging for a campsite with no hookups and no showers, you'd think the bathrooms could be at least clean, if not updated. But sadly, no. The bathrooms were just gross, there appears to be about zero maintenance. And there was dog poop left in our site, along with bits of trash. Clearly, there is no cleanup done between occupants. So many rude, inconsiderate people, leaving garbage, trashing the bathrooms, and ignoring signs which prohibit washing dishes at the faucets. And why have a 2 p.m. check-in when you let the next occupants show up at 11:45 and start breathing down our necks to get out of their campsite? The only good thing left about this campground is its proximity to Lake Tahoe and the dog beach. I doubt I'll go back, too many other campgrounds that are cheaper, cleaner, and less filled with entitled, rude jerks. Plus, getting a site is a nightmare, the best you can hope for is a cancel

This a an amazing location the natural beauty is just as awesome as ever! My family and I have been enjoying visiting here for many years. However the campgrounds were not well kept, the restrooms were had not been properly cleaned in a long time, feces on the walls,
and one of the host (one person) was rude and short with visitors.

Great place. Great camp host. The problem is that the locals come through and let there dogs off leash. If they keep doing this, I will do what it takes to protect my family and dogs. The camp host did what they could, but forestry needs to be there more often to correct this problem.

Your Staff was wonderful. Joyce and her Husband was so helpful on the visit. Please give them a notice of appreciation. Sunday to Thursday
The Man who cleans up the beach and parking lot everyday is wonderful.

Love it here :) To be able to camp next to a spacious beach on the lake, couldn't ask for more! Plus, Plus factor; part of the beach is allocated for a dog beach. Favorite place to go :)
