What Guests Are Saying
Nevada Beach Campground is highly praised for its stunning location near Lake Tahoe, clean facilities, and friendly staff, particularly campground hosts Adam and Janet. Campers enjoy the beautiful combination of sandy beaches and pine forests, as well as the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the shoulder season. While reservations can be challenging to secure and some amenities, like restrooms, need improvement, the overall experience is characterized by cleanliness and a welcoming environment, making it a favorite for many.

We really loved this campground for its size, location and beach access. Unfortunately there seemed to be a lot of mismanagement at the front desk and were inconvenienced a few times when we shouldn’t have been but nothing that didn’t work itself out quickly.

Campsite was wonderful, though some company decided to do roadwork at 3am. Bathrooms were clean, sites were level, and water was available. No fires allowed, due to the fire danger, but that didn’t disrupt from our enjoyment. We were lucky to get a reservation for one night, but discovered that many people failed to show for their reservations. We could have camped longer if their sites were made available. We love this area of Tahoe. It is beautiful and relatively uncrowned, but only midweek. On weekends, the entrance road is packed with cars that don’t want to pay the day use fee. We wish that they would understand that their minor day use fees help to maintain and improve this campground and beach area. Also, some campers need to be permanently banned for not keeping their dogs leashed and under control, especially the ones with the dog that bit the park employee!

Was awesome to experience this spot! I think we are lucky to have gotten a chance to stay cause it’s booked years in advance but I think we lucked out with the recent fires and cancellations.. definitely will be trying to get back next year! Not a far walk from the beach spacious camp grounds! Flush toilets nice and clean! No towels in them but they were still nice that it was flushing lol.

Good, but user interface could be smoother…head to see control and flow sometimes

My favorite campground, so beautiful, and the critical part for me is the dog beach and trails behind the campground. That’s really why I camp here, because the dog always comes along!

Camp host Michelle and Rick were outstanding. Only issue we have with the campground is the lack of showers. Was too chilly to jump in the lake.
