hello this experience awesome stayed at site 033 and 031 SUNSET CAMPGROUND. very convenient place to reserve. wonderful time to expend with family. thank you staff for the clean bathrooms. THANK YOU GREAT, AWESOME, BEATIFUL SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK *****;)

Camping here was frustrating more because of the lack of courtesy from others. Site 25 is sloped but luckily there was a leveled portion of the hill that was flat enough to pitch my 2-person tent. Neighbors were having a party, blasting their music which was frustratingly loud, people's car alarms were going off which was startling, dogs were barking in the morning and in the night. No wonder no one sees any wildlife except for ground squirrels around. I may be alone on this one but what's the point of going outdoors if can't enjoy the peaceful natural world around? Please, be a courteous citizen and be aware of the sound level you are making.

Kings Canyon National Park is easily accessible from Fresno, California. Take HWY 180 East from Fresno, and proceed 55 miles to Kings Canyon National Park. Three miles east of the Big Stump Entrance Station you will find Sunset campground on your left.
