What Guests Are Saying
Sunset Campground is praised for its beautiful sunset views, clean facilities, and convenient location near major attractions in Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Many visitors enjoyed the serene atmosphere, ample hiking opportunities, and friendly staff. However, some noted issues with noise from neighboring sites and varying site sizes, which could impact the camping experience. Overall, it's a lovely spot that many would return to despite a few drawbacks.

Amazing views, the “sunset” on its name it’s very relevant! Sunset and night are beautiful there. There are flush toilets and a sink to clean dishes/pots/etc. Not super quiet at night, but beautiful surroundings. I had some service in there, the only place in Sequoia/Kings canyon where I got some service.

Well maintained and well marked campsites. The sites are close to one another(#132), so there isn't much privacy but that wasn't a priority for me. Only complaint is toilets didn't have soap. Overall a really beautiful location that I will recommend and will certainly visit again.

We stayed at #024 , it was nice intimate area with plenty of space. With little walk from there you can get to area with beautiful panorama, and sunsets are must see. Bathrooms were okay. We spent 2 night there and haven’t seen manager personnel once, we had some questions but their checkpoint was always empty. But overall We had great experience there, and I would come back there.
