The sites are far enough apart for good privacy. Good shade. Toilets were clean. The river is nearby to swim or fish. There is a lot of road noise with the highway nearby. The host was there but never saw them. A bit far from services so best to have what you need.

Enjoyed walking down to the Truckee River - maybe a designated trail or signs could be added so we do not walk through other campsites? Campsites and bathrooms were great and well kept. Enjoyed a quick trip to Truckee for a bite to eat and Lake Tahoe is absolutely beautiful and only 30 minutes away

The restrooms are well maintained compared with Yosemite and June lake, is a good place to camping, however the noisy highway takes away the peaceful that nature offers. Overall we had a enjoyable time.

We camped at site 13. The smell from the toilets permeated the campsite all day long. The road noise was extremely loud 24/7 without any stopping. There wasn't but a couple of access point to the Truckee River. Mostly for fishing.
