Really nice surrounding. The only negative point is the noise from the nearby road.

First time there and really enjoyed it. We were in site #17. We experienced initial difficulties in leveling our Class B Sprinter due to the downhill slope of the site. Changing sites appeared to be problematic although the camp host was helpful in explaining how we could do it online. We decided to stay in that site and the host came down and checked on us to ensure we were settled.

The campground is convenient to both Truckee and north Lake Tahoe. While there was some road noise, the sound of the Truckee River masked it for us. It is a little slice of paradise right off Hwy 89. There was quite a bit of one nighters (usually tent campers) and a lot of sites were empty during the day for campers who take day trips around the area. That made it an especially quiet campground.

Vault toilet restrooms were cleaned every day and always had plenty of toilet paper. No flies or bugs in the restrooms!
