Nice campground for trailers or motor homes. Restrooms are a bit too spread out for tent campers. Most sites are very close to the lake.

Great location which is close to Truckee but seems far away. Prosser is a nice reservoir, perfect for kayaks, paddleboards and fishing as no speedboats are allowed. The campground itself is tidy, the hosts are friendly. Campground rules were followed the last several times we were there (weekdays) so that is a plus. My only quibble is that the restroom seems to run out of tp, so keep that in mind and make sure you have some of your own just in case.

Amazing animal sounds throughout the night. Geese to
Start, then coyotes by the lake yipping and howling, then raccoons near the tent. Keep food locked up. Raccoons did not get into our cooler.

Lovely campground and Site 30 is awesome! This site is huge and it feels like you have your own private little area set back from all of the other sites. We were there at the beginning of August and got the morning sun, but with perfect shade during the hottest part of the day. There is a beautiful view of the lake as well. We will definitely be back again!
