Logger Campground is highly praised for its beautiful scenery, cleanliness, and spacious sites, making it a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Camp hosts are described as friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some guests have noted issues with noise from generators and the need for better enforcement of campground rules, as well as a lack of essential facilities like a functioning dump station.

The campgrounds in general is in poor condition and in disrepair.
It’s pretty sad how poorly the campgrounds are being maintained.
The campground hosts are selling camp firewood to raise funds for Bear Boxes, really?
Roads are campsites are failing, the launch ramp has a very large hole in the asphalt as well as the main exit from the Campground onto the main road has a very large pothole that claimed a boat trailer axle.
As popular as these campgrounds are, it’s shameful how poorly they are maintained and cared for.
Also, the loop (Crosscut - Site #045) they had signage suggesting to leave the restroom doors open to promote “Cleanliness, Help Prevent the spread of Germs” ect. All this did was create more flies, foul odors and also Bats using the restrooms as a daytime roost.
The other loops were not following these recommendations and the restrooms were much more pleasant.

I would have loved to give 5 stars but very shortly after I arrived a golf cart with two women stopped at our site questioning us about a post I made online saying that I would have tackle on hand for purchase. After being told I needed a permit I replied no problem I won’t sell anything. We were then told we had to take down our popup because it had our company name on it and were told they would be watching us and they weren’t very friendly about it. This made us very uncomfortable during our stay and another gold cart stopped the next day to warn us again about the same thing even after I said we weren’t selling anything telling us that if we did the police could come and confiscated everything we have. I felt like we were being singled out and harassed. Despite all that we had a great time and our double campsite #222 was perfect to fit our trailer, boat and truck! Lots of room!

My site was large and easy to back into. We were right across road from reservoir and could easily transport our kayak to the water. And it was safe to leave them there overnight 😀. The camp hosts were helpful and so pleasant. Bathrooms were clean and flies were minimal.
Sunsets were nice. Neighbors were quiet for the most part. I would come back here again!
