Hi,
The campground was very nice. My son and I camped for five nights. I lived in Tahoe for 14 years. We have lots of bears.
My issues are below.
1) I was very surprised there were no Bear boxes for our food. Normally Tahoe camp sites have bear boxes that allow you to keep coolers and food out of the car. I had to buy an extra cooler and constantly was pulling food in and out ,of the car 3-4 times a day.
2) The Big issue is a large group had 8 cars and about 25 people at one camp site. They were totally out of control, screaming yelling fighting until 3am normally partying doesn’t bother me but these people were clueless and had zero respect for others and shouldn’t be allowed to camp at Logger again.
I spoke with four other campsites they all were leaving early because of these people. Partying and noise is fine. This was different, I was waiting for gun shots.
I discussed this with the camp host as did others, he’s smart he didn’t go over to control the group, they would have beaten him up.
I’ll soon be asking for a refund.
Thanks,
David

Neat campground near the lake. Check out the disc golf course near the boat launch overflow parking.

They are really enforcing the 2:00 check in rule, even if the campground is half empty. I'm okay with enforcing rules, but if you're going to enforce one, you have to enforce them all. There were dogs off leash everywhere, dogs barking constantly, generators running in the middle of the night, trash left in campsites, fires left burning, car loads of people that didn't even pay for the sites (essentially squatting), etc, etc, etc. This place has really gone downhill (as most campground have) in the last few years. Our camp host never even left his trailer.
