It is a lovely campgrounds, well taken care of. There were some rude people that left after the second number got that didn’t obey the quiet from 10pm to 6am rule. But other than that it was an amazing time. The water is super low so none of the camps are close to the water. But if you are up for a hike it is not bad.

We arrived without reservations and the wonderful campground staff helped make our stay a fun and pleasant experience. The sites were clean, well maintained and marked with reservation tags so we were directed to one that had not yet been reserved. We then went on line and made reservations for the remaining time we wanted to stay. Easy. While in camp we made day trips to have lunch with friends in nearby Lake Tahoe and Reno. 45 minute drive to each. We also hiked around the camp loops putting in about 5 miles a day, which was very pleasant. Lots of wildlife with deer grazing in the meadows and osprey fishing the lake. We even spotted a bald eagle. The weekend was fully booked and we were concerned about noise, which was unfounded. The campsites were full, but the campers were considerate. The pit toilets were a nose holder, but that's to be expected. Overall a nice campground experience.

We were camping in space 57 right across from the camp host, named Jeff. He’s a really nice guy and our space was spotless. Spent four wonderful nights there. No noise, very low keyed and no noise!! We’re going back up to the same spot after Labor Day for five more days!

Campsite 6 was a pleasant site. A bit close to the main road, but we couldn't hear the traffic much so it didn't bother us. Plus, no neighbors between us and the road which works well as a place to walk our dog without getting all other nearby dogs in an uproar. The site is laid out well with lots of tress for shade, campfire pit, park-style charcoal BBQ grill, picnic table and two trees perfect for our hammock. RV pad is level, campsite itself isn't perfectly level, but comfortable nonetheless. Nearby restroom was well kept and not too close to be an odor issue. We will stay in this site again.
