Prosser is a great little campground, but it is one of those campgrounds where the quality of the visit depends on your neighbors. We had one day out of three where there could have been a little better control of the amplified music - it wasn't terrible or real loud, but is that really why you go out into the woods? To fire up a generator just so you can play some hard rock? No one wants to hear it.
Getting to the lake from camp is easily walkable down the main road... but it is a walk. It's too bad there isn't a trail directly from the camp to the lake (which would be half as far). There is also no drinking water there for the 2023 season.
So, that's the slightly negatives, but overall, it very pretty, peaceful most of the time, and it is a pretty reservoir (but muddy bottom). The vault toilets were clean and amazingly odor-free.

Beautiful location ! Far from the road, very quiet, close to the lake. We came in a 28’ RV and never felt too close from our neighbors . 15 from Truckee which have plenty of store for refill.

Great Lake, excellent fishing, wonderful camp host. Stayed in site 15. Small but good privacy with peek a boo views of the lake. Sites with odd numbers are best. Sites with even numbers are in the middle of the campground and have less privacy. Large beach area a 2 minute drive down dirt road. Lots of biking and hiking trails, along with ORV trails.

Nice, beautiful, and quiet. Walked down to the reservoir and paddle boarded in the morning. Minimal mosquitoes.

Richard the camp manager was excellent. He was friendly, very helpful and obviously loves his work. I also like the lack of wind and dust at prosser and the level, gravel spot to park my trailer.

10 - 15 min off the main highway. Very well kept sites. A little close together but not unreasonable. Very quiet. We stayed one night and enjoyed it. We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.

Unfortunately there is no potable water at the campsite. The improvements made to the fire pits were nice and I guess the bear safes are fine, but I feel like potable water should have been the priority.
Aside from these items, we love camping at Prosser because the host does a great job of making sure people are following the rules. Very few issues ever. We love this campground!
